This book is about a dragon named Firedrake who must leave behind his people to find a new place for them with his best friend Sorrel(who is a brownie which is mythical creature in european mythology) and meets new friends while being hunted by the dragon killer. Honestly, Firedrake while relatable in certain aspects just didn't really stand out to me and I ended up liking Twiglegs the Homunculus anyways. I don't really want to get too into this book for spoilers sake but if you enjoy a story about a boy befriending magical talking creatures to save one of them while going on a long journey then you should check it out.
