Released in 1996, this movie follows a dragon and a dragon killing knights attempt at stopping a tyrant who was given partial immortality.

In my opinion, this movie is very 90s. I do not mean that negatively, it feels like the princess bride but slightly more cheesy if that makes sense. I enjoy the dynamic with the dragon and Bowan, very two old men yelling at each vibes and they are in general fun to watch. Also, I enjoy the dynamic of a sentient dragon working with a dragon hunter to scam people of their money, very entertaining to watch and from what I've seen/read rarely done!

I don't really like how overly human the dragon is but I am willing to look past taht as this movie in general hasn't aged that well, CGI wise and even quality of the film wise (although I am a sucker for how softer the enviroments tend to look in older movies so it's not that big of a deal most of the time). Also in general, the dragon design just looks so off. I also did not enjoy the Dragon maw scene but I can admit I'm not a fan of gross scenes involving close ups of mouths or spit.
